Meet Michelle

Michelle is a dedicated law clerk at Leo Law, bringing her passion for justice and legal expertise to the firm. Currently enrolled in her second year of law school at Georgia State University College of Law, Michelle is on track to graduate in December 2024. She already holds an impressive academic record, having graduated with summa cum laude honors from Kennesaw State University in 2022. At just 19 years old, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and double minors in Spanish and Sociology.

Michelle is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Federal Bar, Atlanta Bar, Georgia Bar, Georgia Hispanic Bar, and Lawyer Pilots Bar. She values her involvement in these associations, which allows her to stay updated on legal developments and connect with fellow legal professionals. Michelle also takes on leadership responsibilities as the Treasurer of the Christian Legal Society at her law school, where she contributes to fostering a supportive community.

To further enhance her practical legal skills, Michelle will commence her role as a student attorney for the In-House Immigration Clinic at Georgia State University College of Law in August. This opportunity will provide her with invaluable hands-on experience in the field of immigration law.

Looking ahead to her future legal career, Michelle intends to pursue a path in the public interest or public sector. She is driven by a strong desire to make a positive impact on society and intends to dedicate her skills and knowledge to serving others. Additionally, Michelle is committed to giving back to her community by volunteering for non-profit organizations and engaging in pro bono work.

Outside of her legal pursuits, Michelle finds solace in nature and enjoys hiking with her dogs. This leisure activity allows her to rejuvenate and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
